Jimmy Hendricks

Tuba/Euphonium/Cimbasso 

 Jimmy Hendricks, a Georgia native, studied with Bernard Flythe during high school. He earned a B.M. in performance from Columbus State University’s Schwob School of Music, where he studied under Andrew Miller. He later earned an M.M. in performance from University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, studying under Timothy Northcut. Jimmy was a finalist in the 2016 International Tuba and Euphonium Conference’s Mock Band Competition. He is currently an adjunct professor for Tuba at The Fred and Dinah Gretsch School of Music at Georgia Southern.

 Jimmy is the Principal Tuba for the Savannah Philharmonic and has performed with several ensembles. He also maintains a private teaching studio and is a frequent clinician for the Savannah Philharmonic’s educational outreach program and at Methodist University in North Carolina.

Eric Brigmond is a highly skilled and versatile multi-instrumentalist, educator, and arranger, with a career spanning over two decades. His extensive experience includes touring/recording across all 50 states and more than 20 countries, showcasing his musical talents in a wide variety of performance settings. From intimate bars and NCO clubs to theaters and grand performance halls, Eric has proven himself adept at captivating audiences in venues of all sizes. Eric’s educational background is as rich as his performance history. He holds a Jazz Performance degree from the University of North Florida, where he had the privilege of studying under renowned educators and performers such as Jack Peterson, Dr. Bill Prince, Don Zentz, and Kevin Bales. His early commitment to honing his craft led him to Valdosta State University, focusing on Trumpet Performance under the guidance of respected instructors Dr. Kenneth Kirk and Jazz Director Bob Greenhaw. Throughout his career, Eric has accumulated a wealth of "real-world" gig and performance experience. His diverse repertoire encompasses almost every genre imaginable, making him a sought-after musician for various projects. He specializes in playing vintage keyboards and straight-ahead piano, bringing a unique sound and authenticity to his performances. He also exploring other disciplines on trumpet, trombone, guitar, Uke and bass. Currently, Eric is on an international tour with the acclaimed artist JJ Grey and Mofro, where he serves as the Keys player, trombonist, and music director. This role not only showcases Eric’s musical versatility but also highlights his ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a dynamic band environment. With a passion for music that transcends borders, Eric Brigmond continues to inspire audiences around the globe, leaving an indelible mark on the music scene. As an educator, he shares his knowledge and experience with aspiring musicians, fostering a new generation of talent that flourishes under his guidance. Eric’s dedication to his craft and love for performance as well educating ensures that his journey is constantly evolving.
